The following professional services are available to clients:

1. Applications: Preparation of copyright applications for product brochures, sales materials, specification sheets, blueprints, troubleshooting and repair manuals and other publications which the client uses or distributes in the course of business which it desires protected from competitor copying.

2. Work For Hire Agreements: If the client retains a consultant or outside firm to produce written work such as promotional literature, technical specifications, blueprints, drawings, and the like, ownership of the copyright is retained by the consultant, even though the consultant is paid, unless a written "Work for Hire" agreement is signed in advance. The consultant and his heirs retain the sole right, even to the exclusion of the client, to make derivative works and changes and to use the materials for the life of the author plus fifty years. A "Work for Hire" agreement cures this situation for the client.
